Agmis and Openet to collaborate building transactional intelligence solutions for telco customers

Agmis and Openet have signed partnership agreement to work together by building and customizing FusionWorks convergent mediation platform for Openet customers. Openet’s solutions enable the world’s largest and most innovative service providers to extract maximum value from the activity on their networks by gaining visibility into the usage of network services, deploying new business models to grow revenue and profitability, control access to and allocation of network resources and enable end-user service personalization.
Openet started its business by specialising in Internet Protocol (IP) mediation. IP Mediation allows a Communications Service Providers identify and bill customers according to type of usage rather than just time and distance. Unlike traditional telephone billing, IP mediation is far more complex as information has to be gathered from multiple devices across the network.
The company capped its Ten Year Anniversary by winning the Irish Sofware Associations "Company of the Year" Award. Headquatered in Dublin Openet employs 300 people worldwide as of 2009. Openet has developed Transactional Intelligence solutions for more than 75 wireless, wireline and cable service providers – including many of the world’s largest and most innovative - operating in every region of the world: AT&T, Bell Mobility, Orange Group, Verizon Wireless, BT, just to name a few.
Agmis will be working as Openet implementation partner for projects in Europe, Africa and MIddle East.
